WORKERS' COMPENSATION INSURANCE
Insurance held by the employer that pays 4 specific benefits to the employees. These 4 benefits in a nutshell are:
Medical Care needed to recover from any ON THE JOB injury with no dollar limit and no limit on time of the recovery.
Disability/Loss of Income and will compensate the employee a portion of their income.
Survivor/Death benefits If the employee does die due to an on the job injury, Workers Compensation will pay benefits to all surviving dependents of the deceased employee; the surviving spouse and children will receive a weekly monetary benefit and the funeral and burial will also be covered by this line of insurance.
